Only online submissions will be considered. To submit your entry, click on the "Submit Entry" tab for complete instructions and to download the entry form.
The contest begins at 12:01 AM on 12/14/09 and ends at 11:59 PM on 4/30/10.
PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS
All photos must be in color and submitted as images formatted as a JPG image measuring a minimum of 300 dpi. To qualify, photographs must be taken and produced by the submitting physician.
JUDGING
Because the winners of the Best Aesthetic Patient Enhancement contest are determined by votes from show attendees, your vote counts. Once all submissions have been received and are posted, all registered attendees will receive instructions on how to cast their vote. One winner in each category will be determined by the highest number of votes received.
Only THE Aesthetic Show attendees are eligible to participate in voting for winning entries. Voting participants may only vote for one submission per category. Multiple voting entries are not allowed. Voters will receive notification of the winning entries at THE Aesthetic Show Main Reception on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
PRIZES
All category winners will receive an award recognizing their accomplishment along with a prize of $500.
The grand prize winner, which will be selected from all category winners, will receive an award recognizing their accomplishment and an additional prize of $1,000.
Contest winners will be announced at THE Aesthetic Show Main Reception on Saturday, May 22, 2010 and winners will be presented an award and their prize at that time. The top three submissions per category will be placed on display in the exhibit hall at THE Aesthetic Show in May 2010. Winning entries will also be displayed on THE Aesthetic Show website in the winners' gallery as well as in a feature article in THE Aesthetic Guide after the show.
THE Aesthetic Show is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. Winners must be present at THE Main Reception during THE Aesthetic Show.
ELIGIBILITY
All contestants must be aesthetic physicians who are registered to attend THE Aesthetic Show 2010. Submitted materials must be your own photos. Contestants are solely responsible for obtaining a photo release from all patients prior to submission to THE Aesthetic Show. THE Aesthetic Show and Medical Insight, Inc. hold no responsibility for entries submitted without a properly executed release.
Direct employees of Medical Insight, Inc., (THE Aesthetic Show, THE Aesthetic Practice Association, THE Aesthetic Guide) and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. THE Aesthetic Show shall be the sole judge of eligibility and reserves the right, at its discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of the contest or website or to be acting in violation of the official rules. In fairness to all, THE Aesthetic Show cannot discuss the contest by phone, mail or in any other way with the contestants.
CONSENT AGREEMENT
Submitted materials will not be returned. THE Aesthetic Show is not responsible for the loss of any entry. Winners agree to allow use of name and photos by THE Aesthetic Show and Medical Insight, Inc. without further compensation. Submission of an entry to the contest automatically constitutes the contestant's acceptance of all conditions set forth in these rules.
OTHER CONDITIONS
The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and is void where prohibited. THE Aesthetic Show reserves the right to change, modify or extend contest dates if it should be deemed necessary. THE Aesthetic Show reserves the right to suspend or cancel the contest at any time. THE Aesthetic Show assumes no responsibility for injury or loss that may arise from participation in the contest. THE Aesthetic Show assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. THE Aesthetic Show reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond THE Aesthetic Show's control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest. THE Aesthetic Show is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the contest. THE Aesthetic Show reserves the right to withdraw the transmission of this contest at any time and award the prize from among eligible entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. THE Aesthetic Show is solely responsible for the administration of the contest, and sponsors are in no way affiliated with the contest or liable for any matters arising due to the contest.
